I live in Utah in a rather small town , i still bought my ticket for the 10 pm Michael Jackson This Is I Premiere Showing on that 1st Sunday they were on sale. I did not want to risk missing it small town or not, nothing would stop me from saying goodbye to The King Of Pop.
So finally after 2 weeks that's seemed to never end , Oct 27th arrived. My wife got the tickets during the day from the ticket machine and we were ready to roll. We left the house early around 9pm as the cinema is only 10 minutes away, we arrived all excited around 9:15 , bought our popcorn and coke and went to theater 11.
Now this is the part that shocked and surprised me, as we walked in i was expecting a bunch of people in their 30's to 50's , you know vintage Michael Jackson fans, boy was i wrong. I walk in and see tons of kids who could not be more than 12-17 dancing to about 3 different little hand held stereos playing Michael Jackson's top songs.
Some were wearing Michael Jackson T-shirts, Fedoras, 80's sunglasses, even a single glittering white glove. They were all dancing to the music happy and excited to be there, there were maybe 5% adults there to be honest.
I was so proud that even in death The King Of Pop had such a young following , his music and talent was truly ageless and timeless.
During the movie every time a number was over, the packed theater audience would applaud wildly, just like a real concert. It felt like a true concert event.
Now about the actual movie i thought it was done quite well, it started by showing some of the dancers who got the job, so emotionally saying how honored they were to be part of the tour. I mean they were in tears or just could not express how excited they were top be picked.
Later it showed the process through which they picked a small group of dancers, out of 100's of candidates. The amount of talent that was there from all over the world was astounding, im sure it was a tough choice.
The rest of the feature showed Michael Jackson performing his biggest hits on split screens simultaneously, he was wearing different outfits and dancing away. It showed him behind the scenes involved in every creative aspect, you could tell who was calling the shots.
He was very supportive of his crew and told them it was all about the audience and about the love. I have seen Michael Jackson Live 3 times in my life, his rehearsals were great by normal standards but it seemed to me like he was holding back a lot as far as his dancing. His moves were not polished and he skipped many big steps in his famous Billie Jean routine.
I guess if one is rehearsing 12 hours a day , you cant go all out so its understandable. It was still an amazing event and i am glad one day i can tell my kids about it. I was both happy and sad as i realized this is the last new footage of him performing i will ever see. I always regret never getting a chance to see him perform Unbreakable.
Long Live The King Of Pop as i write this Michael Jackson is breaking records in even after death, we love you and miss you RIP.

Adam Lambert Calls Michael Jackson's Musical Style 'Groundbreaking'
MTV Reports Adam Lambart was highly influenced by Michael Jackson , here is Todays Michael Jackson News from MTV
During season 8 of "American Idol," Adam Lambert became known for blurring boundaries, mixing elements of pop, '70s glam rock, metal, musical theater and more into his live performances. It's just that capacity to take risks that he so admires in Michael Jackson, whose "This Is It" documentary hits theaters on October 28.
"[H]is music so groundbreaking because he really brought a lot of rock into [it]," Lambert, who grew up listening to MJ and watching his videos, told MTV News. "He had initially set himself up with this R&B presence and he brought so much rock into it and I think it was really groundbreaking how he fused all those different styles together in a pop format. I'm very inspired by that musically."
With "Idol" behind him and his debut album coming soon, the 27-year-old singer released a fiery music video for the power ballad "Time For Miracles" on Wednesday (October 21). When we chatted with him earlier, Lambert not only praised MJ's music but also his iconic music videos.
"Visually, his videos were, like, you could not compete with Michael Jackson," Lambert said with a smile. "He was the one. He just took a lot of chances and really went full into his thematic choices and I'm inspired by that as well."
The singer professed to be looking forward to the premiere of "This Is It" for more than one reason: it will also mark a premiere for his career as well. "Time For Miracles" appears on the soundtrack for the upcoming big-budget disaster flick, "2012," and the trailer will run before Jackson's doc.
"That will be like a double-whammy for me that night, seeing what was left of his legacy and myself to do a little pre-show action," he said. "It'll be really cool."
Don't miss "Michael Jackson's This Is It" Premiere Special, airing on MTV and VH1 on Tuesday, October 27 at 8:30 p.m. ET! "Michael Jackson's This Is It" opens in a limited engagement on October 27 and wide on October 28.

Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' What Was Its True Meaning?
The Los Angeles Times has posted an interesting piece of Michael Jackson News, it seems the the title for the comback tour " This Is It", had a few more meanings than most people know.
In March, Michael Jackson called a press conference to announce what would have been his swan song as a touring artist: the 50-date concert series at London’s O2 Arena, “This Is It.”
“These will be my final show performances …in London,” said Jackson, haltingly, before a throng of screaming fans in what would be his final public appearance. “This is it! When I say this is it, it really means this is it!” He laughed.
Over the intervening seven months, and with the singer’s untimely death in June, that title has taken on a grave alternate meaning. And now with the release of the feature documentary “Michael Jackson’s This Is It” on Oct. 28, as well as a new song titled “This Is It” that was leaked earlier this month, that terse, three-word title is more front-of-mind than ever.
But according to Jackson’s closest collaborators in the last months of his life -- Kenny Ortega, director of both the “This Is It” concerts and movie, and Travis Payne, associate director/choreographer of “This Is It” -- the moniker came to mean a number of different things throughout the development of what would have been Jackson’s return to performing after a 12-year touring absence.
Ortega recalled Jackson reaching out to him in March to enlist his directing services for the comeback concerts.
As Ortega told The Times last week, “I’ll never forget, he said, ‘This is it!’ And I said, ‘OK.’ He said, ‘This is it’ two or three times. And I said, ‘You should call the show that.’ He didn’t say, ‘Well, I will.’ But suddenly I saw it on a banner. So he did after all.”
According to Ortega, a confluence of personal reasons compelled the superstar to make such an extended return engagement to the limelight.
“He started saying, ‘Kenny, my kids are so fascinated with what I’ve been doing my whole life, they’re like super fans. So I want to share with my children now that they’re old enough to appreciate it and I’m still young enough to do it,’” Ortega said.
He continued, recalling Jackson as saying: “‘Importantly, I want to do it for my fans, who are the greatest fans in the world. They’ve stuck by me in everything I’ve been through. Then there are the messages in my songs. Some of the ones I wrote 10 years ago are more meaningful today.’
He was really concerned about the planet, the health of the planet and the lack of love on the planet. He said, ‘This is the time now.’”
The superstar began rehearsals in Los Angeles in April and worked with Payne at several different facilities to prepare for London. First, a private sound stage at CenterStaging Musical
Productions in Burbank, then to the Forum in Inglewood and finally to downtown Los Angeles’ Staples Center in the production’s final weeks.
In an interview at the Sony studio lot last week, Payne described how the title’s meaning evolved over the course of the production.
“This was to be Michael’s last full-on tour,” Payne said. “But as we went through the process, ‘This Is It’ began to take on many different meanings. 'This Is It,' a call to action for our planet. 'This Is It,' the last time you’ll see me in this scenario. 'This Is It,' the show to come see this summer. Also, 'This Is It' for all of us [dancers] was what we had worked our entire lives to get to. It was a culmination of all those things.”
Ortega insists Jackson was serious about “This Is It” as his final curtain call....read more ⇒
“When he said ‘final curtain call,’ he meant touring,” Ortega said. “But he was ready to become a filmmaker next. He had many things on the horizon. He had said he didn’t want to be up there as an old man doing Michael Jackson. He’d say, ‘Can you imagine?’ And he’d laugh. ‘I can’t think of anything more ugly!’”

Michael Jackson's mother Katherine has reportedly confirmed that the late singer's children won't be appearing in a new reality TV programme following the family.I am glad Katherine is honoring Micheal's Memory by not forcing his kids to be in a media circus like he was as a child.
'The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty' was originally conceived before Jackson's death in June to document the recording their comeback album.
However, the nature of the programme was altered following the star's passing to reflect the Jackson family's thoughts on their loss, with Tito Jackson previously explaining that it shows personal and public aspects of their lives.
Us Weekly had stated that Jackson's three children – Prince, 12, Paris, 11 and Blanket, 7 – were due to appear in the programme, after executive producer Jodi Gomes confirmed that "23 cast members with the last name Jackson" had signed up.
However, TMZ.com reports that it has since been told by Katherine Jackson that the infants won't feature in the show at all, adding that Jackson went to great lengths to ensure his children's privacy.
The self-styled king of pop's eldest sister Rebbie told Us Weekly that "Michael would spin in his grave if he knew his kids would be on this show".

The Associated Press brings us this new Michael Jackson News Story
LONDON — Michael Jackson returned to the airwaves Monday with a new song — the first from an upcoming musical documentary featuring the troubled superstar.
It is the first new material by Jackson to be released since his sudden death in Los Angeles on June 25.
Jackson sounded confident and almost playful on "This is It," which features his trademark breathy vocal style, perfected over the years since he was a child sensation with the Jackson Five.
He is backed by lush vocals from his brothers, giving the recording a nostalgic, familiar feel.
It is a mid-tempo number with orchestral backing that is played during the closing sequences of the documentary, which opens Oct. 28 for a limited two-week run. It features rehearsal footage shot shortly before Jackson's death.
"This is it," goes one verse on the new song. "Here I stand. The light of the world. I feel grand."
The song is available on Jackson's official Web site and will also be sent to radio outlets.
It will also be part of the two-disc CD set that will accompany the movie in what is expected to be a worldwide marketing blitz to capitalize on the surge of emotion that followed the singer's death.
The documentary, also called "This is It," features footage of Jackson rehearsing for his planned London concerts, which were to mark his return to the stage after a lengthy absence caused in part by a series of legal and personal problems.
The singer was deeply in debt and had found his popularity dimmed by repeated charges of child molestation.
Jackson's death at age 50 is still being investigated.
The Los Angeles County coroner has ruled it was caused by acute intoxication by the anesthetic propofol, with other sedatives a contributing factor.
The coroner found the powerful anesthetic was administered without any medical need and that recommended resuscitation equipment was missing.
I would like to thank The Associated Press For today's Michael Jackson News Story. You can tell that Michael Jackson had a strong voice and sounded like vintage The King Of Pop. I miss his talent and presence so much RIP The greatest performer who ever lived.

Michael Jackson 'LIKE GOD' SaysSister Latoya
In Today's Michael Jackson News, La Toya Jackson says her brother, Michael, was like ''God'' because he tried to spread peace and love throughout his life.
According to ContactMusic.com MichaelJackson was like "God", says his sister La Toya.
The 53-year-old star insists her late brother had divine qualities because of the way he tried to spread peace and love during his life, which was tragically cut short in June.
She said during an appearance on UK TV show 'Live From Studio Five': "Michael was very, very special and my mother would always say that, because he was. He was very different. I would always say, 'He's not God. But he's so God-like.' He really was God-like. He just wanted to spread love and share love and just do everything that was wonderful.
When you were around him, you felt that. You felt that energy. It was so different from what you guys really knew. That energy was so powerful and so strong. You liked being around him.
You liked that feeling."
La Toya remains adamant the 50 London concerts her brother was set to perform were ultimately responsible for his death.
She added: "Truthfully, I don't think he could have done 50 shows. Absolutely not, no. A healthy person couldn't have done it. A person who is physically fit that was doing this every single day couldn't have done it. It was just too much for him, it really was."
Earlier this month, La Toya claimed Michael's 11-year-old daughter Paris blamed his proposed 'This Is It' residency for her father's demise.
La Toya revealed: "Paris asked me in the hospital, 'How could this happen? She said, 'You know, Auntie La Toya, they worked him too hard. He never got the chance to rest, it was just non-stop work.' I said, 'You're kidding,' and she said, 'You don't understand. They just worked him constantly and daddy didn't want that.' "

Overall they say he was health, disease free and losing his hair like most men his age.Although i don't see how being 136 lbs at 5'9" is considered healthy.
Here is the full story by CBS News website.
Michael Jackson's arms were covered with punctures, his face and neck were scarred and he had tattooed eyebrows and lips, but he wasn't the sickly skeleton of a man portrayed by tabloids, according to his autopsy report obtained by The Associated Press.
In fact, the Los Angeles County coroner's report shows Jackson was a fairly healthy 50-year-old before he died of an overdose. His 136 pounds were in the acceptable range for a 5-foot-9 man. His heart was strong with no sign of plaque buildup. And his kidneys and most other major organs were normal.
Still, Jackson had health issues: arthritis in the lower spine and some fingers, and mild plaque buildup in his leg arteries. Most serious was his lungs, which the autopsy report said were chronically inflamed and had reduced capacity that might have left him short of breath.
However, according to the document, the lung condition was not serious enough to be a direct or contributing cause of death.
"His overall health was fine," said Dr. Zeev Kain, chairman of the anesthesiology department at the University of California, Irvine, who reviewed a copy of the autopsy report for the AP. "The results are within normal limits."
Kain was not involved in the autopsy. The full autopsy report has not been released publicly, but the AP obtained a copy.
Jackson died at his rented Los Angeles mansion June 25 after his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, administered the anesthetic propofol and two other sedatives to get the chronic insomniac to sleep, court documents state. Propofol, normally a surgical anesthetic used in operating rooms, acts as a respiratory depressant and requires constant monitoring,
Murray told police he left the room to use the bathroom and phone records show he also made calls for 47 minutes around the time Jackson encountered problems. When Murray realized Jackson was unresponsive, he began frantic efforts to revive him, but Jackson never regained consciousness and was declared dead at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center.
The coroner's office announced last month that Jackson's death was a homicide caused by "acute propofol intoxication," with the other sedatives listed as a contributing factor. They said the standard of care for administering propofol was not met and the recommended equipment for patient monitoring, precision dosing and resuscitation was missing.
Murray is the target of what Los Angeles police term a manslaughter investigation. The decision on criminal charges will come from the Los Angeles County district attorney's office. Murray has been interviewed twice by police.
Except for a brief video posted to YouTube, Murray has not spoken publicly since Jackson's death. In the video, he said: "I told the truth and I have faith the truth will prevail." Murray's attorney, Edward Chernoff, previously has said nothing Murray gave Jackson "should have" killed him.
Jackson was declared dead a little more than two hours after paramedics were called. Evidence of the desperate struggle to save the star were evident on his body. He had chest bruising and cracked ribs from CPR, and a mechanical device known as a balloon pump was inserted into his heart to try to restart it, according to the autopsy report.
Jackson's body was taken by helicopter to the coroner's office where the following morning Chief Medical Examiner Lakshmanan Sathyavagiswaran and Dr. Christopher Rogers carried out an extensive review and ordered a toxicology screening to look for drugs in his system.
Aside from propofol and the sedatives, the only substances found in his system were the local anesthetic, Lidocaine, sometimes used to numb injection sites and ephedrine, a commonly used resuscitation stimulant.
No other drugs — legal or otherwise — were detected, nor was any alcohol.
Kain said he was surprised that three other sedatives, known as benzodiazepines, were present with propofol. Anesthesiologists sometimes mix one "benzo" with propofol to help put a patient under, but using three increases the danger for the patient.
"People don't mix the benzodiazepines together because they interact with each other and increase the risk of respiratory arrest," Kain said, adding it was likely Jackson first stopped breathing and then suffered cardiac arrest.
The autopsy findings cut off a potential defense for Murray — that Jackson hid serious pre-existing conditions that increased the risk of death from the drugs he willingly took.
Even if he did hide a condition such as his weakened lungs, a prosecutor could argue Murray should have detected the condition before administering drugs, said Michael Brennan, a clinical law professor at the University of Southern California who specializes in criminal defense.
"A doctor has some obligation to know what his patient's physical condition is," Brennan said. "The doctor is going to try to substantiate whatever the patient told him ... and not simply rely on a patient's descriptions of his physical condition."
At the time of his death Jackson was preparing for a series of comeback concerts in London. Rehearsals were rigorous and there were questions about whether Jackson would be physically able to hold up.
But aside from his lungs, the autopsy report did not identify any serious physical problems that might have limited Jackson's ability to perform. It also provided details about his physical state from head to toes.
He had a @3/4-inch scar behind his left ear and another apparent scar behind his right ear. He had a scar beside each of his nostrils and another, 4-inch scar on his right shoulder.
He had a pair of additional scars about 3-inches long at the base of his neck and smaller scars on his arms and wrist. He also had a small scar near his navel and a 2-inch scar on the right-hand side of his abdomen.
Kain said most of the scars appeared to be from plastic surgery though others, like a scar on the knee, could have been from a medical procedure.
The medical examiner found numerous punctures on both arms and on a knee and ankle. The leg punctures could have been from intravenous therapies not described in the autopsy report, Kain said.
Jackson had several tattoos, all them cosmetic, including dark tattoos in the areas of both eyebrows and under his eyes, and a pink tattoo around his lips.
He was going bald at the front of his head, with his remaining hair described as short and tightly curled. The bald part of his scalp was darkened with what appeared to be a tattoo stretching across the top of his head from ear to ear.
The coroner found depigmentation of his skin around his chest, abdomen, face and arms.
The coroner also found Jackson was actively producing sperm.
Amazing how he could perform with all the back and joint problems, imagine the pain he had to deal with on a daily basis, and yet he still committed to 50 concerts dates. I cant imagine how he could have gotten through them all without some major damage to his health.
